By accessing and using JobPecker, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
1. Description of Service
JobPecker provides AI-powered career optimization tools, including but not limited to: automated job search (scraping), generation of CVs and cover letters, and job matching criteria analysis.
2. Pro Subscription and Payments
- Billing: Advanced features require an active subscription paid via Stripe. Prices are listed on the website and are subject to change with notice.
- Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annually) unless canceled by the user via the Stripe management portal.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to Pro features will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Payments are non-refundable, except as required by applicable Swiss or international law.
3. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
You acknowledge that content generated by AI (CVs, letters, suggestions) is produced by machine learning algorithms. While we strive for maximum accuracy:
- The user is solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the truthfulness of documents submitted to employers.
- JobPecker does not guarantee success in applications or the absence of errors in generated texts.
4. Limitation of Liability
JobPecker and its owner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including the loss of job opportunities.
5. Accounts and Security
The user is responsible for maintaining the security of their account (Google Login). Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lucerne, Switzerland.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will inform you of material changes via email or through the site itself.
